22-Year-Old Fatally Stabbed, Danbury Police Say

A suspect has been charged and is being held in lieu of a $1 million bond, police said.

DANBURY, CT — A 22-year-old was fatally stabbed and a suspect has been arrested, police said.

At 12:29 p.m. Saturday, police received a 911 call from 4 Granville Ave. that a 22-year-old man was stabbed, police said.

The man was taken to Danbury Hospital, where he later died, police said.

"After a thorough investigation it was determined that Bryan Eduardo Caceres-Pinguil age 21 of Danbury was the suspect and was placed under arrest and charged...," police said in a news release.

Caceres-Pinguil is charged with murder, third-degree assault, two counts of risk of injury to a minor and disorderly conduct. He was held in lieu of a $1 million bond.

The victim's name has not yet been released by police.
