4 Danbury Vape Shops Face Enforcement Action Over Illegal THC Sales And Violations
4 Danbury vape shops cited for illegal THC sales, underage violations and labor infractions in joint operation.

DANBURY, CT — Four vape shops in Danbury were cited after a joint enforcement operation uncovered illegal sales of THC products, underage tobacco sales, and labor violations, officials said.
The inspections on Aug. 26 involved the Danbury Police Department along with the state Department of Consumer Protection, Department of Revenue Services, Department of Labor and Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services.
Authorities said the checks were prompted by citizen complaints, including from parents, about shops selling THC products and vapes to minors. Past compliance operations have led to seizures of marijuana and other illegal products worth thousands of dollars, police said.
