Armed Robbery Reported at Lowe's Home Improvement Parking Lot
Danbury Police are investigating an armed robbery reported at 9:40 a.m. Tuesday in the parking lot of Lowes Home Improvement.

Danbury Police responded to an armed robbery reported in the parking lot of Lowes Home Improvement store on International Drive at about 9:40 a.m. Tuesday. Police said the victim stated that she had just parked her car and was exiting it when a dark skinned male pointed a gun at her and demanded her money. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of money and the victim's cell phone. The suspect then took off on foot towards Federal Road. The victim was unhurt. The suspect was described as a dark skinned male, late 30's, medium build wearing dark jacket and pants. A check of the area was conducted by police and K-9 Unit with negative results. Witnesses are urged to contact the Detective Bureau at 203-797-4662.
