Artisans and Crafters Wanted for Ninth Annual Holiday Shoppe & Craft Fair

The Danbury Museum & Historical Society's annual Holiday Shoppe and Craft Fair takes place November 26 through December 23.

Danbury, CT - The Danbury Museum & Historical Society will be hosting their annual Holiday Shoppe and Craft Fair, November 26 through December 23, 2016 in Huntington Hall, located on their campus at 43 Main Street, Danbury.

The museum is currently seeking artisans and crafters who are interested in showcasing and selling their unique crafts and fine goods during this very popular and well-attended event. In previous years, the Holiday Shoppe has featured items such as handcrafted jewelry and fashion accessories, handmade bath and body products, presents for your pets, holiday décor, wood-crafted items, floral design pieces, quilted, knitted, greeting cards and paper items, ornaments and more.

The Holiday Shoppe will be open six days a week, Monday to Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and sales will be managed by museum staff and volunteers. Vendors are not required to be present during business hours.

There are a limited number of tables and exhibit cases available and all at a very reasonable rate. Space is available on a first-come, first-served basis. The museum also provides all marketing for this event via their website, social media and print outlets.

Special holiday programs have been booked throughout the run of the Holiday Shoppe & Craft Fair to draw even more visitors, including our annual Holiday Tea in the Historic Rider House.

“We're excited to welcome an wide array of talented people to fill Huntington Hall with their wares for this annual event. It brings many new and familiar faces through our doors and the Holiday Shoppe and Craft Fair has become a favorite, festive stop for gift giving needs each year,” said Brigid Guertin, Executive Director and Danbury City Historian.
