Helping Our Ecosystems: What Can We Do at Home?

In this Youth Environmental Club workshop, young participants continue exploring how their daily choices can protect the planet. The series—conceived by Liam Barreto, a 5th grader at AIS in Danbury—encourages kids to think like scientists and community changemakers through conversation and experimentation.

This session focuses on simple actions that can make a big difference. From recycling to saving energy, kids will create a personal “Top 3 Environmental Actions” list, empowering them to start helping the environment right at home.

Registration recommended but not required. For ages 7-10

Future workshop date:

April 16, 2026 - Local Ecosystems with Chris Evers (Animal Embassy) & Celebration
