Car Rear-Ends Flatbed Truck On I-84: Danbury Fire

DANBURY, CT — Firefighters responded to a car crash at Exit 2 on I-84 where a car's front end was crushed by a flatbed truck. Firefighters say at 7:30 p.m., they found the four door sedan parked on the right side of the Exit 2 ramp along with the flatbed tractor trailer.

The driver was sent to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries by the Ridgefield Fire Dept. Ambulance. The driver said he had restricted vision due to sun glare.

The exit 2 ramp lies near the Ridgefield/Danbury line.
