'Cherish The Many Memories': Prime Pub In Danbury Shuttered

The owners of Prime Pub announced on Facebook that the restaurant has shuttered for good.

DANBURY, CT — The owners of Prime Pub announced on Facebook that the restaurant has shuttered for good. It's last day for business was Oct. 20.

"We want to express our deepest gratitude for your support and patronage over the years. It has been a pleasure serving you, and we cherish the many memories made," the social media post reads.

No reason was given for the abrupt closing of the establishment, which was located at 2 Nabby Road.

Prime Pub's other location, in Somers, NY, remains open. The owners also promoted the newest addition to their restaurant stable, Bia American Kitchen in Chappaqua, NY, which opened in August.

Amidst praise for its lobster tacos and "best dirty martini in Danbury," Prime Pub fans on Facebook saluted the eatery's staff and owners:
