Danbury Racer Teddy Hodgdon Needs Your Vote

Rogers Park Middle Schooler Teddy Hodgdon, who has been racing small cars since he was seven, needs your vote to pursue his dream of one day racing in NASCAR.

Teddy Hodgdon is a Danbury grassroots Kart racer, who is among 15 finalists in the 2013 “Search for a Champion” racing sponsorship contest.

Teddy has been interested in car racing since he was a baby, watching NASCAR on the TV while resting in bed. His sister Hannah prefers watching the races to driving, but Ted Hodgdon senior used to race 20 years ago, and he made it as far as the NASCAR All Pro Series.

"It's a great family time for us," said Ted Hodgdon. "We head out Sunday morning to New Hampshire or Stafford Motor Speedway. "It's a one in a million thing to make NASCAR, but for right now it's great family fun."
