Danbury Man Arrested for Alleged Sexual Abuse of 11-Year-Old Boy: Police
The Danbury Police Department arrested a 55-year-old city man for sexual assault after officers received a complaint. BREAKING

DANBURY, CT — The Danbury Police Department said that they have arrested a 55-year-old city man for the alleged abuse of an 11-year-old boy. Lopez Baltazar was arrested for fourth degree sexual assault, risk of injury to a minor with sexual contact and risk of injury, police said.
According to police, on July 18, 2016, the Danbury Police Department received a complaint involving the sexual abuse of an 11-year-old male. The suspect was identified as Baltazar Lopez. Detectives from the Special Victims Unit of the Danbury Police Department initiated an investigation and on September 22, 2016, a warrant for Lopez’ arrest was granted by Danbury Superior Court, police said. He was taken into custody by detectives from the Special Victims Unit without incident and is currently being held at the Danbury Police Department on a court set $200,000 bond.
