Danbury Police: Crack Cocaine on Patriot Drive
Danbury Police provided the following information about a crack cocaine bust on Danbury's Patriot Drive.

Danbury Police charged William Watson, 34, Orchard Street, Danbury, with possession of narcotics and possession of crack cocaine with intent to sell at 5:20 p.m. Thursday. Police said the Community Condition Unit was doing surveillance on Patroit Drive, when they saw Watson driving a green Hyundai approach a known drug dealer and make a drug transaction. Watson was apprehended and found in possession of crack cocaine. He was charged with possession of narcotics (crack cocaine); possession of crack cocaine (with intent to sell) based on the packaging and number of crack rocks (9) and driving without a license. He was held on a $25,000 bond for an appearance in Danbury Superior Court Friday.
The Danbury Police Department provided this information. A person charged with a crime is innocent until having been convicted in court.
