Danbury Police: Huffing Behind the Marriott
Danbury police charged a man with trespass, assaulting an officer and interfering after an incident behind the Marriott Hotel Thursday.

Danbury Police were called to the back of the Marriott Hotel on Eagle Road Thursday at about 1 p.m. on a report a man was inhaling from an aerosol can. When police arrived, they saw Mark Bivona slumped on the ground, his face in the mud. When the police officer yelled at him to wake up, police said Bivona grabbed the can and tried to put it in his mouth. Police knocked it from his hand and Bivona began to kick the officer. Bivona had to be subdued. He was charged with criminal trespass, assaulting a public safety officer, and interfering with police. He was held on a $25,000 bond for an appearance in Danbury Superior Court Friday.
