Danbury Police: Larceny, Assault, Violation of Probation
Danbury police charged one man with second-degree larceny, a second with assault, a third with violation of a protective order and a fourth with violation of probation, all within an hour of each other.

Danbury Police charged Peter Nasser, 42, of Riverford Road, Brookfield, with second degree larceny at 10:10 a.m. Thursday. Nasser was held on a $25,000 bond for an appearance in Danbury Superior Court Thursday.
In a second case, Danbury Police charged Michael Monomonte, 33, of Starr Road, Danbury, with violation of a protective order at 10:10 a.m. Thursday. He was held on a $50,000 bond for an appearance in Danbury Superior Court Thursday.
In a third case, Danbury Police charged Jeffrey Cruz, 22, of West Wooster Street, Danbury, with third-degree assault, second-degree threatening and breach of peace at 10:10 a.m. Thursday. Cruz was held on a $5,000 bond for an appearance scheduled in Danbury Superior Court Thursday.

In a fourth case, Brant Mendelson, 27, of Old Bridge Road, Brookfield, was charged with two counts of violation of probation at 11 a.m. Thursday in Danbury. Mendelson was held on a $100,000 bond for an appearance scheduled for Danbury Superior Court Friday.
This information was provided by the Danbury Police Department. A person charged with a crime is innocent until having been convicted in court.
