Danbury Police Need Help Catching Road Rage Suspect

Danbury police said a man got out of his BMW, threatened another driver with a baseball bat and smashed their tail light.

DANBURY, CT — The Danbury Police Department is seeking the public's help in catching the driver or a vehicle suspected in a road rage incident in the of Deer Hill Avenue and Wooster Street on Monday. Det. Lt. Christian Carroccio of the Danbury Police Department said they received a call alerting them of the situation.

Upon arrival, police met with the female complainant who stated that a black colored BMW was observed operating erratically. When the female was stopped at the intersection of Deer Hill Ave. / Wooster St. the BMW driver pulled up next to her. Words were exchanged and at that time the male operator of the BMW got out of his vehicle with a baseball bat. The male opened the female's door and grabbed her arm as she called 911. The male then smashed one of her taillights and then left, police said.

The suspect male was described as: dark skinned male operator, approximately 21-25 years of age, thin build, crew cut, wearing a black tee-shirt and black sweat pants, according to police.
