Max Theodorakis, a sophomore at Campbell University, shot a 64 to tie the course record. Theodorakis' score was eight under par. He currently shares the second-round lead with Jeff Evanier. The rest of the field is on his tail, however. Three-time winner Frank Bensel trails the co-leaders after two bogeys on holes 17 and 18.
