There may be residual paving issues and other work left to do, but the New York State Department of Transportation reported today the replacement of the eastbound Dingle Ridge Road overpass bridge on I-84 is complete.
Work on Dingle Ridge Road itself is scheduled to continue until Wednesday, when that road will reopen. As far as I-84 and the detours are concerned, backups were reported to be as long as a mile on Sunday morning.
"I-84 Eastbound is now open. Backups on all affected roads are in the process of clearing," the New York State Department of Transportation reported Sunday afternoon.
If a Monday morning commute is ever routine or easy, tomorrow could be routine or easy. No promises.
