Large Commercial Building In Danbury Loses More Tenants: Report
The fate of the 1.2 million-square-foot building is unclear.

DANBURY, CT — Five companies have left the Matrix Corporate Center in Danbury, reports the News Times. General Motors Corp., Chipman & Mazzucco, Jack Morton Worldwide, Agency 720 and Martin Retail Group all signed leases less than one mile away from the 1.2 million-square-foot building.
Corporations such as Praxair and Boehringer Ingelheim have also left the buildings. The five companies left for a building at 44 Old Ridgebury Road, which is now 92 percent leased. The Ridgebury Road building was 50 percent occupied just six months ago.
The overall commercial vacancy rate in the city is 20 percent, but it includes the thousands of feet in vacancies at the Matrix Corporate Center.
