New Brewery Coming To Danbury: Report
City officials say the brewery will be an attraction to the city and will create jobs.

DANBURY, CT — A brewery is planning to set up shop in Danbury early next year, reports the News Times. Charter Oak Brewing is eyeing a taproom at 39 Shelter Rock Road, according to the publication.

The brewery has received the necessary approvals to date, and is applying for a special permit with the Danbury Zoning Commission. Danbury Common Council member John Esposito III said the brewery would be an "attraction" for the public and create some jobs.
Planners say the brewery would cover 10,000 square feet, 1,010 would be used for the taproom.
