New Main Street Dunkin Donuts Site Demolition

One of the two buildings making way for a new concept Dunkin Donuts on Danbury's Main Street near Rogers Park is demolished.

John Pasquence and a team of workers from All Star Demolition in Danbury demolished a house at 155 South St., Monday to make way for a new Dunkin Donuts.

In addition to the South Street house, workers will also demolish the Padaminas Bakery at 10 Main St. Once removed, the two demolished buildings will leave an "L" shaped lot that will become the new concept Dunkin Donuts. For more information about this proposal, see this story from February.

The new concept for Dunkin Donuts will seem familiar to people who also frequent the "S" coffee chain (Starbucks.) That is a coffee shop with a lounge feel and more food options.
