No Weekend Trains on Danbury Line in August
Buses will be available for public transportation while crews work on road crossings.
Trains won’t be running along the Danbury Branch of Metro-North on weekends in August while crews make repairs to road crossings along the line.
While the trains are out, the MTA will be providing bus service at each stop along the line from Danbury to South Norwalk (and visaversa) on adjusted schedules.
Bus service will run from Friday, Aug. 8, beginning at 9 p.m. through the last train set to run on Sunday, Aug. 10. Work (and bus service) will continue on Friday, Aug. 15, through Sunday, Aug. 17, and Saturday, Aug. 23, and Sunday, Aug. 24.
