Danbury Police received word of a serious accident on Sugar Hollow Road just south of the Wooster Heights exit at about 12:45 p.m. Tuesday. Police said Lidia Duarte of Brookfield, was driving a 2003 Honda CR-V southbound on Sugar Hollow Road, and Hazel Capella of Ridgefield, was driving a 2004 Subaru Impreza northbound. Police said Capella lost control of her car and crossed into the southbound lane which caused the collision with Duarte's vehicle.  Occupants of both vehicles were transported by ambulance to Danbury Hospital for injures sustained in the collision. Any witnesses please contact Sgt. Rory DeRocco or P.O. Matt Georgoulis at (203)797-2157, the Danbury Police Department.
