SONIC to Open New Drive-In in Downtown Danbury Next Week
Located near Western Connecticut State University, the new SONIC restaurant looks to employ 40 workers.

DANBURY, CT — Fast food fans with the hankering for a blue raspberry slush or cherry limeade with their chili cheese Coney hot dogs are in luck. SONIC Drive-In is opening on White Street directly across from the Western Connecticut State University campus.
The throw-back to 1950s American car culture is famous for its roller-skating wait staff and its "totchos" — tater tot nachos. Corporate parent Inspire Brands, which also owns Buffalo Wild Wings and Arby's, is headquartered in Oklahoma City, OK.
In celebration of the grand opening, the Danbury SONIC will offer a free SONIC Corn Dog to every guest on Thursday, July 21, while supplies last.
