'Tastes Of Danbury' Returns In April With Global Cuisine

The monthlong event runs from Tuesday, April 1 through Wednesday, April 30, and highlights Danbury's diverse culinary scene.

DANBURY, CT — CityCenter Danbury’s culinary promotion, "Tastes of Danbury," returns this April, offering visitors the opportunity to sample dishes from four locally owned eateries for a flat rate of $30.

The monthlong event runs from Tuesday, April 1 through Wednesday, April 30, and highlights Danbury’s diverse culinary scene. Participating restaurants for April include Xay’s Kitchen, Fino Sabor, La Mitad Del Mundo and Po-Yo, each offering guests a choice of one featured dish.

Once a ticket is purchased, participants will receive four individual digital or printable tickets—one for each restaurant. The tickets are valid only during the month of April and must be redeemed by April 30. Only one ticket bundle may be purchased per person per month, though bulk purchasing for friends and family is available through the checkout process.

Participating Restaurants and Menu Options:

Xay’s Kitchen – 35 White St.

A family-owned Thai and Laotian restaurant offering a choice of dishes such as Pad Thai, Pho, Pad Kee Mao, and Lao-style Larb salad. Diners may select their preferred spice level on a scale of 1 to 5.

Fino Sabor – 281 Main St.

A Brazilian eatery featuring a range of "X"-style burgers and sandwiches, all served with fries. Also available is a traditional Açaí bowl with fruit and granola.

La Mitad Del Mundo – 275 Main St.

Specializing in Ecuadorian cuisine, options include daily weekday specials, avocado salad, and weekend-only items such as Hornado (roast pork) and Pollo a la Brasa (grilled chicken breast).

Po-Yo – 274 Main St.

A retro-themed chicken-focused restaurant offering choices such as rotisserie chicken with sides, chicken cheesesteaks, Cuban sandwiches, tacos, quinoa bowls, and spicy chicken wings.

CityCenter Danbury encourages participants to explore downtown while enjoying the featured restaurants.
