Three Schools Get First-Place Votes In Scholastic Wrestling Poll
A familiar face is on top, but not in its usual unanimous fashion.

CONNECTICUT — High school wrestling fans in Connecticut are accustomed to seeing Danbury at the top of any poll, but not so common is the Hatters splitting first-place votes with other schools.
Such is the case with the first poll of coaches and media members in 2022. Danbury is in its usual spot on top, with 11 of 16 voters tabbing them No. 1. Xavier collected four top nods, while Fairfield Warde earned the other first-place slot.
Here are the top 10, with first-place votes in parentheses, as well as all other programs receiving support.
