Traffic Stop Leads To Gun Charges On I-84: Report

DANBURY, CT —A Massachusetts man was arrested on I-84 after a traffic stop Sunday afternoon, reports the News Times. Police say they arrested Pierre J. Clemat, 27, of Brockton, MA, with a fully loaded 9 millimeter handgun.

Police say Clemat was a passenger in the car, which was clocked at 79 miles per hour on I-84 eastbound. A search yielded a small amount of marijuana and the gun.

Clemat was released on a $2,500 cash bond.
