Updated Danbury Bear Sightings: Statistics From Around The Area

Officials from the state department of Energy and Environmental Protection released updated black bear sighting statistics this week. The latest chart dates from Oct. 3, 2016 to Sept. 25, 2017 and includes municipalities with at least one sighting.

Danbury reported 85 sightings during that period.
