Vision for Vacancy: Tuscano's? Mimi's? Pito Q's? What Next?

We have a pretty significant vacancy on Main Street that was long a landmark and a well known watering hole. Remember Gusto's Ristorante? The murder? Yeah, that one.

Let's call this a social media twist on urban planning — Patch's version of a charette, a digital drawing board where all ideas are on the table. We're faced with an Ives Street that is short of dining and it's short of entertainment.

Today's vacancy is the former Tuscano's, 275 Main St., a restaurant spot with a long and infamous history. This was the home of Gusto's Ristorante, the spot where prosecutors proved one owner murdered his partner before dumping his body in New York State. It was briefly Pito's Q, Shortcut to Puerto Rico. Before all of that, it was Mimi's, but its history goes farther back than Mimi's.

A check at City Hall shows there are no plans for another restaurant or anything else pending on this property. What should it be?
