14th Annual Oktoberfest at the CT Draft Horse Rescue

Please join the CT Draft Horse Rescue for the 14th Annual Oktoberfest on Sunday, October 19th at Autumn Ridge, the farm of the CDHR (113 Chestnut Hill Rd, East Hampton CT 06424). Admission is FREE! Come meet the horses from 11am - 3pm. There will be vendors, hayrides, raffles, food, kid activities, and much more! The CDHR is a non-profit organization dedicated to saving the lives of neglected or abused draft horses as well as draft horses headed to slaughter. Their mission is to vet, quarantine, rehabilitate, train and re-home rescued horses with a strict contract for their life-long protection. Since its inception, they have rescued more than 110 horses with the majority placed in forever homes. The CDHR is run strictly on public donations. Fundraisers, such as this one, ensure they have the resources needed to continue caring for the horses at Autumn Ridge.
