The man accused of killing Jini Barnum and burying her body in the woods of Glastonbury will not get a probable cause hearing.Â
Anthony Garofalo, 38, who lived on Main Street in East Hampton when he was arrested last year, has waived his right to a probable cause hearing, according to the Middletown Press.Â
Garofalo is being held on $1 million bond on numerous charges, including murder and strangulation in the death of 30-year-old Barnum, his former girlfriend.Â
East Hampton police arrested him in January on a warrant following a six-month investigation into Barnum's disappearance last year. She was reported missing by Garofalo, who served several years of jail time previously on convictions of rape and kidnapping.Â
Garofalo is due back in Middlesex Superior Court on June 11 for a pre-trial hearing in the Barnum case.Â
