ATV Rollover Crash Injures 2 At State Park: Reports

A man was seriously injured and taken to the hospital by helicopter and a woman was also injured in an ATV accident, according to reports.

EAST HAMPTON, CT — A man and a woman were injured in an ATV rollover crash at an East Hampton state forest this weekend, according to reports.

Crews responded to Salmon River State Park on Saturday evening when an ATV rollover with two injuries was reported, according to NBC CT.

Firefighters brought both people out of the woods. LifeStar helicopter transported a man with serious injuries to the hospital, WFSB 3-TV reported.

The woman had a leg injury and was taken to the hospital by ambulance.

The Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection is handling the investigation.
