Benefit Coming Up for Portland Mother and Daughter Visiting Ethiopia

Portland mom and blogger Alicia Yost is taking her daughter to Ethiopia this August through her church, Hope Church in East Hampton, to help build a high school in a tiny village called Jido. 

"There, we will meet with community leaders, visit families, play with children and bring a sense of love and hope to people who rarely get that from the outside world. How serendipitous that she might recognize the value of her education in a place where children do not go to school.  How amazing that in a place with no worldly luxury, that she might come to recognize the riches of her life."
