Bicyclist Injured In School Bus Collision In East Hampton: Police

The accident happened Monday morning and remains under investigation.

EAST HAMPTON, CT — A 15-year-old was injured early Monday morning when the bicycle he was riding collided with a school bus.

Police said the accident happened around 7:28 a.m. near the intersection of N. Main Street and Hills Avenue, which is close to East Hampton High School.

The bicyclist sustained an injury to his leg, according to police. The teen was conscious and alert at the scene, and he was transported to a local hospital for treatment, police said.

Police, the fire department, and ambulance personnel all responded to the scene.
