The Scissor Happy Salon in Portland has generously offered to sponsor the “CDHR Cut-a-thon” to benefit the Connecticut Draft Horse Rescue! The Cut-a-thon will take place on Saturday, August 4th 2018 from 11am-2pm at the Scissor Happy Salon (864 Portland-Cobalt Rd, Portland, CT 06480). For a $25 donation you can get your haircut, styled or braided! No appointments necessary!
A tea cup raffle will be held with prizes from local area businesses. There will also be wine-pull and CDHR retail items. All money raised will go directly to the CT Draft Horse Rescue and fund the building of a new barn at their farm, Autumn Ridge.
