Daily Five: Epoch Arts Performs a One-Act Play
Also, the bookstore at the Portland Library is having a sale on romance books in recognition of Valentine's Day.

- East Hampton has a new school superintendent, Diane Dugas, who currently works for the Granby school system. Dugas starts work here July 1.
- The Friends of the Portland Library is holding a Romance Book Sale through Saturday, Feb. 23. All paperbacks are 4 for $1 and hardcovers are $1 each. All romance sale books will be marked with a red dot on the book spine.
- East Hampton’s department heads and supervisors will be sponsor a “Meet and Greet” for the community on Monday, Feb. 25, from 6-7 p.m., at the East Hampton Ambulance Building, 4 Middletown Ave.
- The First Baptist Church in Middletown is hosting a “Taste of 2013 Black History Dinner,” on Saturday, Feb. 23, between noon and 5 p.m. Tickets are $15.
- “We As Women: An Original Epoch Play,” will be performed at Epoch Ats Center, 27 Center Skinner St., East Hampton, on Saturday March 2, at 7 p.m. Tickets are $7.
