Daily Five: Looking for a Job in East Hampton?
The town is looking for a "seasonal maintainer." Also, "Life of Pi" is airing at the Portland Public Library.

- A vote on the $52 million East Hampton High School renovation proposal has been delayed by two weeks.
- Manes & Motions Therapuetic Riding Center will hold a volunteer recruitment event on Thursday, March 14, 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., at the Portland Public Library.
- East Hampton’s Town Council is hosting a “Community Conversation for Visioning,” on Thursday, March 14, at 5 p.m. in Town Hall. The event is intended to allow residents to air their ideas about what they want for their community in the future.
- East Hampton is accepting applications for the position of “seasonal maintainer.” The person in this position performs a variety of duties to prepare equipment, fields, grounds, facilities and waterfronts for seasonal use. Must possess and maintain a valid CT motor vehicles operator’s license with good driving record. The pay is $10-$12 per hour depending on experience.
- The Portland Public Library today, March 13, will show the movie “Life of Pi,” at 1 p.m. The movie, part of the library’s “Movies in the Afternoon” series, follows the journey of Pi Patel after he finds himself stranded on a lifeboat with the only other survivor, a ferocious Bengal tiger named Richard Parker.
