Downed Power Line Reported In Portland

PORTLAND, CT – A primary power line is down on Bartlett Street in the area of Penny Corner Road, police reported Tuesday afternoon.

The area is closed to traffic in the following locations:

Route 17 at Bartlett Street
Bartlett Street at Penny Corner
Bartlett Street at Summer Street

As of 3:45 p.m., Eversource was en route to the scene to fix the damage.

Eversource was reporting 345 outages Tuesday as of 4 p.m.
