East Hampton Man Dies In Car Crash: Police
The two victims in a crash in Newington over the weekend have been identified.
NEWINGTON, CT — The identities of two people killed in a four-vehicle crash in Newington on Sunday morning have been released by police. Mark Steiner, 61, of East Hampton, and Alexis Soto, 29, of Wethersfield, died in the wreck.
The crash occurred on East Cedar Street/Route 175 at Patricia M. Genova Drive in Newington shortly after 9:30 a.m. A third person who suffered serious injuries was transported to a local hospital, according to a police Facebook post.
The road was closed from Rt5 to Hawley Street for several hours. The Midstate Accident Reconstruction Team was investigating the accident.
