East Hampton Police Issue Warning On Phone Number Spoof Scam

Police are warning residents about a scam in which fraudsters appear to be calling from the police department.

EAST HAMPTON, CT — Police have taken multiple reports of fraud involving people receiving calls from the police department's phone numbers, police wrote on Facebook.

The numbers people are receiving calls from include 860-267-9544 and 860-267-9922.
