East Hampton/Portland Election 2025 Voter Guide: Meet The Candidates
Here's what you need to know regarding the local municipal election including the candidates, polling places, voting hours, and more.

EAST HAMPTON/PORTLAND, CT — On Nov. 4, East Hampton and Portland residents cast their votes for several key municipal positions in town. Here's everything you need to know about the upcoming municipal election.
Election Day polling hours and locations
Polls in Connecticut are open 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Election Day. You can use the Secretary of State’s website to find your polling place. Voters who are in line by 8 p.m. will be allowed to vote.

Same day voter registration
If you are not registered, but want to vote on Election Day, you may register in person on Election Day at your Election Day Registration site People must be registered by 8 p.m. in order to vote using Election Day registration.

East Hampton
Town Council, Vote for Up to Five
The Democratic candidates are Joelyn Leon, Karen Wanat, Richard E. Knotek, Dean P. Markham, and Jack Solomon and the Republican candidates are Alannah Danaher Coshow, Tim Feegel, Eric Peterson, Ted Hintz, and Darin Hurne
Board of Finance, Vote for Up to Four
The Democratic candidates are Daniel Finn and David L. Caterisano and the Republican candidates are Joey Guest, Bridget McLennan, Alison Walck, and Jim Radavich
Board of Education, Vote for Up to Five
The Democratic candidates are Sarah Strange, Nancy Kohler and Corinne Clark Barney and the Republican candidates are Nathan Jaycox, Sal Nucifora and Sarah LeBlanc
Board of Assessment Appeals, Vote for Up to Two
The Democratic candidates are Paul Wisniewski and Carol Williams and the Republican candidate is Diane Achenbach-Zatorski
