East Hampton Town Councilor Running For State Senate
Brandon Goff has announced his candidacy for the 33rd District seat.

EAST HAMPTON, CT — Brandon Goff, a Republican elected to the East Hampton Town Council last year, has announced he is running for the state Senate's 33rd District. Goff said in a statement that there is a need for "new blood" in the legislature and that he will bring “fresh, family-focused ideas."
The 33rd District includes Chester, Clinton, Colchester, Deep River, East Haddam, East Hampton, Essex, Haddam, Lyme, Portland, Westbrook and part of Old Saybrook. Norm Needleman, a Democrat, currently represents the district.
“Connecticut is unaffordable, and as your next State Senator, I will work with Democrats and Republicans to change that,” Goff said in a statement. “I will also work to pass laws which make our communities safer. We need to better support our law enforcement officials and first responders. As state senator, I will put taxpayers first. Your voices will be listened to.”

“I love my country and I love Connecticut,” Goff said in a statement. “I also very much enjoy public service and helping people. I am going to be bringing my positive message directly to the people of our district, and I look forward to listening to the voters from now until Election Day. From affordability to public safety to wasteful government spending, there are so many areas where we can improve our state’s policies. I will be appealing to Democrats, Independents, Republicans and Unaffiliated voters, and I will work tirelessly to earn your support in November.”
