Middletown Man Riding Scooter Struck, Killed On Arrigoni Bridge

BREAKING: Police are searching for a car they believe to be involved in the crash.

PORTLAND, CT — A Middletown man riding his scooter was killed after he was struck from behind and police are searching for a car they believe to be involved in the incident, NBC Connecticut reports.

The victim was identified as 22-year-old Daquan Moore. According to the NBC report, Moore was riding his motor scooter on the Arrigoni Bridge around 11 p.m. when he was struck.

Police believe two cars were involved, one of which stayed on the scene and police are searching for the second.

Moore was reportedly not wearing a helmet and was pronounced dead at the hospital.
