New Portland Restaurant Plans Summer Opening
A new restaurant will open in the building where the Portland Restaurant used to be.
PORTLAND, CT — The former Portland Restaurant at 188 Main St. will reopen this summer with a new appearance and new name, The Middletown Press reported. The establishment will become the Portland Ale House, offering lunch and dinner 7 days a week plus 20 beers on tap.
The brick building the restaurant will be housed in dates back to 1884. The Portland Restaurant closed in August 2020, according to The Middletown Press.
Portland Ale House is planning a June opening.
