Obituary: Charles Curtis Jacobson, 80, formerly of East Hampton
Charlie, a talented artist and musician, proudly served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War.
EAST HAMPTON, CT - (From Doolittle Funeral Home) Charles Curtis Jacobson, 80, of Rocky Hill, passed away on Sunday, February 20, 2022 at Sgt. John L. Levitow Veteran’s Healthcare Center in Rocky Hill.
Born in Middletown, he was the son of the late Charles and Marian (Strong) Jacobson.
Charlie lived in East Hampton in his early years and then for many years in Rocky Hill. He graduated from East Hampton High School in 1959, graduated from Yale University with a bachelor’s degree in music and the University of Texas with a master’s degree in music.
He was a talented artist and musician.
Charlie served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War.
He is survived by two sisters, Shirley Miller of Newington and Susan Dutch of Middletown and two nieces and two nephews.
