Obituary: Christine (Lindquist) Frontel, 100, Of East Hampton
Christine had been active in the Girl Scouts and Friends of the Library, and also helped start the Library Used Book Store.

Christine (Lindquist) Frontel of East Hampton, age 100, died peacefully at home Sunday, December 30th. She was born in Portland on January 7, 1918, the daughter of the late Fritz and Odena (Quintin) Lindquist. She was the wife of the late Gabriel Frontel for 72 years.
She is survived by her five daughters and their spouses Joan and John Land of CA, Mary Jane and Lee Dutton of NY, Lorraine and Larry Lawrence of East Hampton, Cynthia and George Tourville of East Hampton, Gretchen and Bill Foster of Middletown, nine grandchildren and 15 great- grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her three brothers and two sisters.

Christine had worked for the Gong Bell, T.S. Brown Ins. Co. and the East Hampton Library. She had been active in the Girl Scouts, Friends of the Library and helped start the Library Used Book Store. Christine loved nature and spending time outdoors.
Friends may call at the Spencer Funeral Home (112 Main Street, East Hampton) on Saturday, January 5th from 10:30 a.m. until 12 noon. Burial will be private.
