Person Arrested After Incident At Dunkin’ Donuts: Portland PD
Police said the person, who was in possession of a knife, became "uncooperative and confrontational" after a traffic stop.
PORTLAND, CT — A person was arrested after an incident at Dunkin’ Donuts on Main Street in Portland on Wednesday night, according to police.
Police said the incident “did not involve a gun of any kind, threatened, or implied.”
“An individual became uncooperative and confrontational after a motor vehicle stop by a Portland Police Officer,” police wrote in a post on Facebook. “The individual was in possession of a knife, which escalated the incident even further. Middletown Police also responded due to the nature of the incident. The individual was arrested on motor vehicle charges and related charges for becoming belligerent and confrontational.”
