Portland Fireworks Details Announced
Patch is here with all the details to make the most of your Fourth of July celebrations.
The annual Portland fireworks extravaganza will be delayed this year until July 30 to protect the baby herons and eagles nesting in the area, as requested by the EPA.
This wonderful family-friendly event will be celebrating freedom, our nation’s birthday, and Portland’s 175th anniversary.
A flyer on the town website claims that many have declared this to be one of the best firework displays in Connecticut. All expenses involved in the production of this show are paid by the generous donations they receive.
