Presents for Paws 17th Annual Shelter Collection Drive

Presents for Paws is hosting their 17th Annual Shelter Collection Drive on Saturday, December, 14th 2024, to collect items for CT animal shelters this holiday season. Volunteers will be at two locations: Gagnon’s Pet Resort – 227 Upton Road, Colchester (10am-2pm), and Shagbark Lumber – 21 Mt. Parnassus Rd, East Haddam (10am-2pm). Santa and the Grinch will be visiting Shagbark, so you can snag a photo with them, too!

The following items are needed based on shelter requests: cat litter (high priority!); dog food (Purina preferred, wet/dry - unopened, please no Ol' Roy or Beneful); cat food (wet/dry, any brand - unopened); cat/dog treats (no rawhide); new/gently used dog toys (especially tough chew toys/busy bones). Presents for Paws is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization located in East Haddam that collects and distributes supplies to area shelters, rescues, and municipal pounds.
