Structure Fire Reported In East Hampton, Fire Officials Say
Mutual aid from other area fire departments was requested to extinguish a fire Thursday night.
EAST HAMPTON, CT — Firefighters responded to a structure fire on Haddam Neck Road in East Hampton on Thursday night.
The East Haddam Fire Department was requested for mutual aid at 8:51 p.m.
Firefighters established a water supply line. Another crew was on standby.

The East Haddam Fire Department had a message for drivers on its Facebook page:
"Please slow down to a crawl when approaching an emergency scene and follow the direction of all emergency personnel directing traffic."
