Sunset Yin Yoga Class to be Held in Portland's Riverfront Park

This class will be offered through the Portland Parks and Recreation Department

(PORTLAND, CT)- Come join Cyndi Mazzotta, RYT 200 for Yin Yoga practice at the Portland Riverfront Park! This four-week class begins Tuesday, May 2

Yin Yoga is the perfect complement to round out your strength or endurance routines. Poses target connective tissues of the hips, pelvis and lower spine. Though for some, this can seem too slow of a practice, as most poses are practiced either seated or lying down on the mat, the benefits over time are fabulous:

1. Helps reduce anxiety
2. Can restore mobility
3. Improve sleep
4. Stretch and stimulate fascia to restore mobility
5. Calm the busy mind

With the use of a crystal singing bowl to begin and close our practice, this session will be sure to promote relaxation and restoration.
