There's still time to sign up for summer camp!
Summer is right around the corner but it’s not too late to sign up for camp! YMCA Camp Ingersoll in Portland, CT, is offering a wide variety of summer programs to appeal to all children ages 4-15.
This year, camp is starting a week later on June 29th to accommodate for schools getting out so late, but they are still offering a Preview Week from June 22-June 26. This is the camp’s only one-week session and is especially great for younger or first time campers who want to get a feel for what camp is like before committing to a two-week session.
This summer, Camp Ingersoll is offering a number of new and favorite Specialty Camps. Some of their most popular Travel Specialty Camps are returning, such as Wilderness (grades 7-11), Fishing Camp (grades 3-8),and they are once again teaming up with Indian Springs Golf Course for Golf Camp (grades 4-9). The camp is also offering Rocketry Camp (grades 4-7), Acting for Fun (grades 2-4), Music Factory (grades 6-9), and Film Making (grades 7-11.) Camp Ingersoll has just announced a new partnership with Advanced Sportsplex in Middletown to offer ‘Advanced’ Baseball and Softball, as well as ‘Advanced’ Lacrosse for campers going in grades 4-8.
