Youth Sports at Camp Ingersoll Begins This Week!

Don't miss this chance to help your children develop skills, stay active, meet new friends and HAVE FUN! Classes start tomorrow!

At the Middlesex YMCA we create a positive atmosphere where your children can make friends, learn skills, and have fun all year round. Fall Session 1 registration is open and classes begin THIS Saturday! All classes are taught by Certified Physical Educator and Camp Ingersoll's Assistant Director, Coach Taylor!

Fall Session 1: September 8th - October 27th, 2018
Sports are more than dribbling, kicking, or throwing. We teach social skills: how to make friends, share common interests, how to work together with a partner, and HAVE FUN! It shouldn't be a chore to work up a sweat in youth classes, and it isn't at the Y. Our activities are participation based, exciting, and all inclusive!

Parent and Me Soccer (3 yrs) 9:00 - 9:45 AM
This class is designed for children and parents to spend quality time together learning this international sport. Parents are expected to help introduce dribbling, passing, shooting, good sportsmanship and FUN! Everyone plays and receives a T-Shirt

Pee Wee Soccer (4-6 yrs) 10:15 - 11:00 AM
This class is focused on participation, building confidence, and having fun! Participants with learn some new skills, meet new friends, and be active! Everyone plays and receive a T-Shirt!

Archery (7-12 yrs) 12:45 - 1:30 PM
Archery is a fun and exciting way to teach skills and the YMCA Values. Learn about the different parts of a bow and arrow and how to take care of them while participating in games and activities designed to be fun and engaging. YMCA Camp Ingersoll has all of the necessary equipment so just come prepared to unleash your inner Robin Hood.
